iPhone 101: Stop automatic synchronization
Filed under: Tips and tricks, iPhone
Sometimes you want to connect your iPhone to your Mac just to give it a charge. However, iTunes launches each time and starts a time-consuming synchronization. How can you prevent this?
The solution is pretty easy. First, connect your iPhone to your Mac and launch iTunes. Next, click on your iPhone in the sidebar and then de-select the “Automatically sync when iPhone is connected” option in the first tab. The next time you connect your iPhone to your Mac, you won’t initiate a whole ordeal. Ahhh.
